* $59 billion - very fast train linking Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney.

* $6.67 billion - Pacific Highway upgrades across NSW.

* $4.3 billion - Bruce Highway upgrades, Brisbane to Cairns.

* $4 billion - dedicated freight train line through northern Sydney.

* $2.4 billion - Adelaide desalination plant.

* $2.1 billion - housing for Pilbara.

* $2.1 billion - construction of Melbourne's north-east connector road.

* $2 billion - extension of Sydney's M4 motorway.
